Gauss Frame Offsets
- We describe a method to approximate the offset of a tensor product surface by a bicubic Bézier patch. The method takes advantage of the geometric controls ofthe Bernstein Bezier form, using the Gauss frame and a least squares fit to sampled exact offsets points.
